I’m so sorry that I’ve been MIA guys! This fall/winter season has been a busy one for myself and the company I work for (www.radsoap.com) as we just opened our first retail store in Stuyvesant Plaza!! It’s been a surreal ride designing and executing the design of our first brick and mortar shop, but I can say without a doubt that it has turned out exactly as we’ve dreamt. A huge shout out to the Kerber family and the RAD crew, we did it!! I’ll be constructing a post on the opening of the store with photos so be sure to check back soon!
I feel like I have a LOT of catching up to do so let’s start with Thanksgiving. I was fortunate enough to be able to stay in a beautiful cabin in Lake Placid with the majority of my Dad’s side of the family and I can’t stress enough how peaceful and absolutely gorgeous it was! It truly was a remarkable place to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for. I also got to bring my little baby man, Otis (he had a BLAST). Here are a few photos of the family and the horse farm that we stayed next to! (PS. Wait until you get a load of the snapchats of my gram, Marlene)
After Thanksgiving my mom came over and taught me how to bake her famous cookies!! I must say, they came out pretty well but never as good as hers and my Mema’s. Here are a few photos of the final product, yum! (Of course you’ll find Otie’s little snout making a guest appearance)
Then most recently my Mother and I decided to surprise my brother (and best friend) with an impromptu trip to the big apple! We started off the day right by heading to The East Pole. If you’re a fan of Avocado Toast then you absolutely must pay them a visit. Next, we headed off to sight see and eventually wound up at Ruby’s Australian Cuisine (another gem) and lastly Serendipity 3, where my Mom has been longing to visit for years. We had a blast exploring and taking my mom to many of her bucket list places in the greatest city in the world…
It’s been a fun-filled crazy season and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Here are also some recent snaps of Otie and myself after a hair appointment with the oh so talented Laura McDonald, owner of Blue Peregrine Salon. Ladies, if you are looking for a fresh cut or a seriously talented hair painter, you owe it to yourself (and your hair) to pay her and her stunning salon a visit!
Hopefully I’ll have some more free time in the near future to stay on top of this for once! See you all after the new year!
