I popped into Glossier’s SoHo shop a few weeks ago and scored quite a few gems. One gem in particular, I have used literally every day since, the Rose Balm Dotcom. Ohhh, man. You can use it on anything and it works wonders. My go-to is using it as a lip balm alone or before lipstick so my lips look soft, moisturized and healthy all day. One of the best parts is that you seriously only need a tiny bit and after one application you’re good for most of the day. I’ve been experimenting with it, now that I know it’s magical powers, by using it on my elbows, cuticles, and most recently mixed with a light peachy eyeshadow to give me that glossy, dewy eye look. You will never find me without this stuff, ever.
Numero Dos is has been that thing for me that you don’t really need but you really, really want. I have been dying to make a trip to Byredo for years now and FINALLY made it to scent heaven. The scents are so unique and smell so different on each person that I truly feel I smelt smells that I’ve never smelled before. Say that fast three times. But really, I fell head over heels for all of the high end home fragrances, perfumes, and body care. I opted for the Mojave Ghost perfume for it’s sensual and chic every day scent. It’s girly and romantic while remaining light and casual which I felt worked really well for a fresh spring perfume. I’m certain that my next trip will be VERY soon seeing as I now have my eye on the Gypsy Water perfume having used up almost all of the Gypsy Water hand creme that I purchased during the first trip. Take my word for it and go smell some Byredo. Your nose will never be the same.
